Every class booked.
Every pack tracked.
Every parent told.

Lesson packs, waitlists, levels and term enrolment for South African studios — swim schools, pilates, karate, dance and holiday clubs. Parents book and pay for their own children, reminders go out on their own, and the money lands in your bank, not ours.

Sound familiar?

You didn't open a studio to do admin until 10pm.

Most studios we meet are running on four tools that don't talk to each other.

A spreadsheet that only you understand

Who has lessons left. Who paid in January. Which column means what. It works right up until you are away and someone else has to open it.

400 unread WhatsApps

"Is there space Tuesday?" "Can we move to Thursday?" "Did you get my EFT?" Every booking becomes a conversation, and every conversation needs you.

A paper register curling in a kit bag

Attendance scribbled during class, typed up later, or never. Nobody can tell you what a student has actually attended this term.

Chasing parents for money

Lessons already taught, invoices already sent, and you are the one who has to send the awkward reminder. Again.

What changes

Four things stop being your job.

Parents pay before the lesson, not after it

Lesson packs are bought up front through PayFast and credits come off as each student attends. You stop invoicing for lessons you have already taught.

The reminders send themselves

Class reminders, waitlist offers and enrolment confirmations go out over WhatsApp and email without you opening your phone.

A full class fills itself

When someone cancels outside your cancellation window, the next person on the waitlist is enrolled automatically and told. A late cancellation alerts your staff instead, so nobody is dropped into a class starting in an hour.

The register lives where everyone can see it

Your staff mark attendance on a phone as the class starts. You, your team and the parent are looking at the same roster, the same levels and the same credit balance.

Running by the weekend.

Three steps. No installation, no consultant, no training week.

1

Put your timetable in

Add your classes, levels, venues and coaches, and the terms you run. Recurring sessions generate themselves from there.

2

Connect your PayFast account

Takes about five minutes in Settings. It is your PayFast account, so pack payments go straight into your bank. We never hold your money.

3

Send parents your booking link

One link. They register their children, buy a pack, pick a class and get their own reminders. Your WhatsApp goes quiet.

Built for classes — not retrofitted from a salon diary

Everything a term actually needs.

Packs and credits. Waitlists. Levels and certificates. Multiple venues. Whole-term enrolment. All of it standard.

Packs and credits

Sell 5-class, 10-class or term-length packs. A credit comes off on enrolment and goes back on a cancellation inside your rules. You can see at a glance who has classes left and who is about to run out.

Waitlists that fill the gap

Class full? People join the waitlist themselves. A cancellation outside your window promotes the next one automatically and tells them. Inside the window, your staff get the alert instead.

Levels and progression

Set your own levels — strokes, belts, grades or your own bands — move someone up when they are ready, and print a certificate for it. Parents can see which level their child is on without asking you.

More than one venue

Run the main studio on Tuesdays and the hall across town on Saturdays. Each class carries its own venue, so people book the right place and your staff see where they are meant to be.

Whole-term enrolment

Enrol someone into every Tuesday 4pm for the term in one action, or roll a whole class over into the next term. No re-booking eleven times.

Indemnity and contact details, captured once

Members and children are registered against an account with the details and consents you need on file, instead of a form in a drawer.

WhatsApp-first, by design

Your parents live in WhatsApp.
Your reminders should too.

About 94% of South African internet users are on WhatsApp. Platforms built for other markets reach for SMS and email first — and a reminder in a channel nobody opens is a child who does not arrive.

LuckyFlo sends WhatsApp natively, from your own business profile. There is no Twilio account to open, no gateway to wire up and no API key for you to manage. Message credits are included in every plan.

What we send, without being asked

  • Class reminders before the lesson
  • Waitlist offers when a space opens
  • Enrolment and cancellation confirmations
  • Pack purchase receipts

250–1 000 WhatsApp credits a month included, depending on your plan.

How we compare.

Against the two platforms South African studios most often ask us about. Every figure below is taken from that company's own pricing page — nothing is estimated.

LuckyFlo compared with Mindbody and Jackrabbit Class on published pricing, billing currency, price transparency, enrolment-based pricing and commission.

Sources. Taken from each company's own pricing page on 20 October 2026.

Mindbody: publishes no monthly price for any of its named plans — all four are quote-only. The $79 figure is the entry price its pricing FAQ gives for North America and Asia. The same FAQ states that subscription prices increase with additional locations, though not with additional staff. Its marketplace terms state the 20% commission, capped at $30, applies to a new client's first purchase through the Mindbody app where there is no tracked referral or existing relationship; later bookings are commission-free.

Jackrabbit Class: publishes tiers by month-end student count, starting at $49/mo. Jackrabbit Plus starts at $93/mo plus a one-time $169 setup fee, and Enterprise is $245/mo flat.

Dollar prices are shown exactly as published and are not converted to Rands — both platforms bill in US dollars, which is part of the point for a South African studio.

Your PayFast, your money

Pack payments go from the parent into your own PayFast account. We never hold or forward your takings.

Built here, under South African law

A South African company bound by South African law, with data export in the dashboard and a published deletion process. Our privacy policy sets out what we hold and why.

Local in the ways that matter

Priced in Rands, South African time zone, PayFast first, and dates written the way you write them.

Month-to-month, if you want it

Monthly plans have no lock-in and upgrade instantly; annual plans run for the 12 months you pay for. Your client and booking data exports to a spreadsheet whenever you ask for it.

Already on something else?

Bring your term with you.

On Boutique and Unlimited we migrate your client list, class schedule and active packs for you, at no charge — whether you are coming off a spreadsheet, SuperSaaS, Mindbody or a wall planner. Tell us what you have and we will tell you honestly how long it will take.

Questions, answered.

My clients are adults who book for themselves. Is this still for me?

Yes. Booking for a child is an option, not the model. An adult signs up, buys a pack and books their own classes exactly as you would expect — a pilates or group-fitness studio never has to touch the parent-and-child side of it. It is there the day you add a kids class.

Can one parent book for more than one child?

Yes. A parent registers each child once against their own account, then books, pays and cancels for any of them. Each child keeps their own pack balance, level and attendance record, and the reminders name the child so nobody turns up on the wrong day.

What about someone who misses a class?

You set the rules. Cancel outside your cancellation window and the credit goes back automatically and the space is offered to the waitlist. Inside the window, the credit is used and your staff are notified — the same policy applied the same way to everyone, which is the part that ends the arguments.

I run terms, not a rolling timetable. Does that work?

Yes. Enrol someone into a weekly slot for the whole term in one action, and roll a class over into the next term rather than rebuilding it. Holiday clubs and short courses work the same way with a shorter date range.

Do I need a PayFast account?

Yes — bring your own. Your parents’ pack purchases land directly in YOUR bank, not ours, and LuckyFlo never touches the money. Setup takes about five minutes in Dashboard → Settings → PayFast Integration.

How many WhatsApp messages do I get?

Independent: 250/mo · Boutique: 500/mo · Unlimited: 1 000/mo. Enough for a typical studio's reminders and waitlist offers, and top-ups are available in bundles from R79 if you ever run short.

Do I have to set up the WhatsApp Business API myself?

No. We handle it. LuckyFlo sends WhatsApp from your business profile — no Twilio account, no third-party gateway, no API keys for you to manage.

More than one instructor, more than one venue?

Both are standard. Classes carry their own venue and instructor, so your Tuesday class at the studio and your Saturday class across town are separate sessions with separate rosters. Instructor limits are per plan — 1 on Independent, up to 5 on Boutique, up to 25 on Unlimited. Need more than 25? Talk to us.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

You pick a plan. No card is required to start the trial and nothing auto-charges. If you do not pick a plan, your booking page pauses and your data stays exactly where it is until you reactivate.

Give your evenings back.

14-day free trial. No credit card. Your timetable loaded and your booking link out to parents the same week.
